Gathering of Economic and Civil Society Activists in London to Coordinate on Afghanistan Issues
On October 26, approximately 100 economic activists, representatives of educational, social, human rights, and civil society organizations gathered in London at the invitation of the British Council. This meeting aimed to exchange views and establish focused coordination on issues concerning Afghanistan, with participants discussing and formulating a unified policy.
Hafiza Nadi Anthonyaddis, Director of the Afghan Diaspora for Peace ( ADFP), also attended and emphasized in her speech the importance of creating organized, systematic channels for communication and information-sharing. She proposed that coordinated and effective efforts be made across various sectors to advance joint initiatives in the United Kingdom and Europe and to improve conditions in Afghanistan.
Nadi’s proposal received strong support from attendees and was endorsed under the title “The United Voice of Afghans in the UK.” In conclusion, the participants agreed to develop precise plans and coordinated policies to foster solidarity and establish a unified policy approach.
